Pensioners & Over 55's

The Joseph Rank Benevolent Fund principally helps retired persons on low incomes and people over 55 who are unable to work by paying a small quarterly allowance – currently £45 - to beneficiaries.

This does not affect any other benefits received as it is treated as a charitable gift.

If you are over 55 and have a long term health condition we will also consider your application.

The Joseph Rank Benevolent Fund Deed of Trust says that pensioners should live in the Hull area (which includes Cottingham and Hessle) and should have done so for the past ten years. They should also be on a low income and not have more than £10,000 in savings.

If you think that you qualify or there is someone you know who you think they might be eligible, please contact us via our website or by ringing the number below and we can follow up the enquiry with an application form.
